In recent years, Shell gas station has offered a buy-one-get-one lift ticket option for people that purchase 10 gallons of gas or more in a single visit. All you have to do is print your receipt at the pump and show it to the cashier. The resorts featured tend to vary a little bit from season to season, but a few that tend to be on the short list include Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Copper Mountain Resort, and Powderhorn Mountain Resort. For example, if you are flying into Salt Lake City, stop at Canyon Sports ski shop first before heading to the mountains. They typically offer discounted lift tickets to Brighton and Solitude. A great ski deal for those skiing in Utah.
The "stairs" tickets to the second floor are available online : sale of such tickets open 14 days in advance. Stairs e-tickets are valid for visits up to the 2nd floor, and like the lifts e-tickets, are time-stamped. Reminder for second floor ticket holders : there is no additional ticket to the third (top) floor available for purchase on the spot.
The Eiffel Tower also sells "stairs + lift" ticket which will allow you to take the stairs until the second floor, then the lift to the top of the Tower. Such tickets are only sold at the ticket offices at the Tower at the individual rate and for use immediately.

Breckenridge Ski Resort lift tickets vary depending on time of year and type of pass. Discounts for advance purchase, children and military are available. Be sure to factor in prices of travel, dining, lodging, ski equipment rentals and extra activities when calculating costs. Epic Day Passes purchased in advance are cheaper, but are non-refundable and quantity is limited. Daily refundable lift tickets range from $219-255.
Active-duty and retired military can receive great discounts on lift tickets if purchased at the ticket window. Immediate family can also receive these discounts if they have a dependent military ID. These tickets can only be purchased in-person at the ticket window with a valid unexpired military ID.

Unused ski area lift tickets purchased at Buckman's Ski Shops may be returned for a full refund up until March 15th (exceptions may apply, for example Blue Mountain and Killington tickets may not be returned). If you do not use a CAD/DEMO voucher for any reason you may return it for a full refund within a week after the event (except for Blue Mountain events). A receipt must accompany any and all lift ticket returns (except for Blue Mountain and Killington tickets).
Unfortunately, ski area policy does not allow us to make exceptions for any lift ticket returns after March 15th of the current season. Refunds cannot be issued for tickets purchased in prior seasons.
