The flowing, vinyasa style of our classes is an ancient, potent metaphor for establishing empowerment and beauty amidst life's inevitable ups and downs. New students feel the welcoming warmth of love and passion for yoga. Yoga brings the greatest joy to you, the atmosphere, and the world.

Throughout the month of October Child Inc will be celebrating Head Start achievements and services inviting volunteers and community partners into our classrooms to share knowledge and resources. Volunteers will provide STEM related activities, we will offer cooking demonstrations, parent/child yoga classes, circle time reading with BookSpring just to name a few. You can also be on the lookout for our Child Inc branded Capital Metro buses throughout the City of Austin.

Samudra Yoga provides a friendly, compassionate and non-competitive environment to help everyone explore all the possibilities and benefits of a yoga practice. They have classes for beginner to experienced students and offer class cards, monthly unlimited options and drop in rates. Samudra Yoga was established in 2015 and has a welcoming and small community studio vibe.

Breathe N Flow is a Family Yoga studio with a vision of offering Yoga to the community while creating a space that is welcoming to everyone. They specialize in a wide variety of yoga classes, including vinyasa, restorative, yin, prenatal yoga, kids yoga and many more! At Breathe N Flow, your practices will help you connect with a deeper sense of Peace, Joy, and Balance in your life.

Ashtanga yoga is a challenging, athletic style yoga practice that follows a set sequence. In this modern-day form of traditional yoga, you will match your breath to each physical movement and will follow a specific sequence of yoga poses.

In an ashtanga yoga practice, you can expect to move at a fast pace and stay in a constant flow of movements. Ashtanga yoga is highly structured and very physically demanding. While this form of yoga is identical from day to day, there are some things you should know about it before you attempt this challenging form of yoga.

Our journey: Our passion is to inspire all children to shine, but we had struggled to find authentic ways to reach all of the children we work with. We are no strangers to the effects of trauma and the everyday challenges of growing up. With a little intuition and a lot of solid research, we were able to find clarity as we brought our love for yoga together with our love for children. BALANCE4Kids classes and workshops are proving to be a dream realized for us and are having a positive impact on the lives of the children and families who participate.

I lead workshops and courses worldwide on biomechanics, pain science, and research literacy. I run a popular 300 hour yoga teacher training and a comprehensive mentoring program to support you in both education and business.

Through a combination of learning at school, translating the concepts to be relevant to yoga poses, teaching it to other yoga teachers, fielding difficult questions, and being challenged to make the material even more relevant is what eventually resulted in my book.

My 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training is all online with topics heavy on biomechanics, principles of exercise science, applications of pain science, neurophysiology, pathology, and stretching. The course has two modules: September-October 2023 and January-February 2024. 041b061a72
